I am a San Francisco based advertising photographer specializing in commercial product photography. I currently own and operate Flash Studio in South San Francisco — one of the San Francisco Bay Area's best commercial photography rental studios. My photography path started with a degree in Art & Design from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, followed by a very brief stint as a graphic designer. From there I landed at XYZ Graphics for nearly a decade as their in-house photographer. After ending up on the losing side of a bike vs car accident on one of my commutes, I decided to live it up and open my own studio. Now here we are.
Imagery I've created has been used by Nike, Google, Audi, Samsung, Chevrolet, HP, Levi's, Allbirds, Morphe, Logitech, eBay, Paypal, Starbucks, BevMo, Williams-Sonoma, Target, Adidas, Old Navy, AAA, Tillamook, Venables Bell and Partners, Goodby Silverstein and Partners, McCann, 72&Sunny, Heat, Integer, and many more.
When I'm not in the studio, you'll most likely find me spending as much time as possible outside with my wife and newborn baby girl, camping, hiking, or scouring over maps daydreaming of our next overland adventure. I'm also very much a nerd and tinkerer, and in the rest of my spare time I'll be in the garage (aka woodworking shop), in front of my computer designing things to 3D print, or staring at lines of code trying to automate every electronic thing in our house. Of course, for now I'm not doing much of any of that, as I'm either nap-trapped with a newborn sleeping on me, or I'm a zombie because she didn't sleep at all.
